Dunk Island Paddle

Members of the Old Saybrook Land Trust will explore Dunk Island on the Back River in Old Saybrook on Saturday, August 12th. A coveted part of the Trust’s holdings and stewardship focus, the island is remarkably free of non-native, invasive plant species, making it a valuable resource to area wildlife. The OSLT invites new members and welcomes interested volunteers to help maintain local properties.
Parking and launching can be at the end of South View Terrace. Anyone interested can call Barbara at 860-389-2736 that morning to confirm.
